The Board of Directors at BMF Investments (BMFI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Lerato Nage as the Chairman of the Board, effective 01 June 2024. Lerato succeeds Mr. Lebogang Phasha, who has admirably acted in this role from 01 August 2023 until 31 May 2024 and has been instrumental in guiding BMFI through numerous strategic initiatives.
Lerato Nage, an accomplished executive with over 13 years of experience in financial management and strategic leadership, brings a wealth of expertise to BMFI. As the CEO and Delivery Director for KEA Capital (Pty) Ltd, Lerato has demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving business growth and operational excellence.
His tenure as Chairman of City Power (Pty) Ltd and various leadership roles, including CFO at NSFAS and SABC, have honed his skills in financial acumen and strategic planning. Nage’s notable achievements include his role as a member of the Advisory Board of Directors for Long Mark Equity Partners and as Chairman of Daybreak Farms (Pty) Ltd. His leadership in these positions resulted in significant improvements in business valuation and financial performance.
